Weird. I like weird. :D Immediate impressions were raisins and... Roast ham?? The surprisingly pleasant ham note quickly turned more to coffee as the glass opened up. Will certainly seek out a bottle to share with a fellow adventurous soul. Would love to try this with some chocolate cake, or game meat. Offered by Sasha at D'Vines Bloomington, which is sadly closing down. — 6 years ago

Good value, dry and nicely spiced, yet light texture. I'd love this in the summer! Purchased from the knowledgeable and friendly Sasha at D'Vines, Bloomington, Indiana.
Update: bought a second bottle to enjoy, yum! — 6 years ago

Classic example of wine tastes better when you are enjoying the view of the vineyard, the story being told by the winemaker. We purchased this wine in Italy and schlepped back home only to find the merlot to be mediocre a year later. This wine is supposed to the the pinnacle of Radikon empire (made by father of current winemaker Sasha). — 6 years ago
All I can say is wow! This is a beautiful wine. It is integrated in complex and rewarding ways and a real revelation on the still latent stratospheric possibilities of Paso. I am certain that I will not be able to properly describe the magic here. This project of Justin Smith (Saxum), Philippe Cambie and Sasha Verhage is something very special. The flavors build and last forever. I found myself not wanting it to end. Grab this if you can get your hands on it. Simply spectacular. — 6 years ago
