Celebrated the new year right with an amazing Italian wine! — 11 years ago
Full bodies paired great with tenderloin tonight! — 7 years ago
A terrific wine recommended to us by Tony Sasa, owner of Enoteca Ponte Vecchio (best wine shop in Florence!). Has an intense but restrained nose of blue and black fruits. Was a bit closed on the palate at first - probably needs decanting or, better yet, a few more years in bottle - but once it opened up it was full-bodied, balanced, and not nearly as tannic as I was initially expecting. Great complement to our mushroom ravioli/tomato-sausage ragu dinner! — 9 years ago
Medium body, fruit forward. Nice coating mouth feel. Slight tobacco. Very good! — 9 years ago
Wow! Ash volcanic toasty nose with great mid palate of clean pure dark fruits like hard candy and balanced well made smoking wine! — 8 years ago
A beautiful classic Amarone, and one of my favorites! VERY aromatic; tobacco, espresso, dried fruit and rosemary, and rose water on the nose, with a gorgeous spoonful of cherry cobbler, dried fig, vanilla spice, dried herbs, and a lingering spice on the finish. Drinks like an older vintage of Amarone used to with the rosemary notes, which is fantastic and unique for a very unique style of wine. — 9 years ago
Very refreshing and rich taste. Super good. I feeling of romance and passion. Bright taste. — 9 years ago

Just fabulous! Vines 85 years old and around 100 cases made. Had this at an enoteca in Italy.👍👍👍 — 2 years ago
