San Juan, Cuyo

Finca Las Moras

Dadá 2 Red Blend 2017

Noh! Que vinho bom. Fácil de beber, bem fechado e o gosto de mocha é muito interessante. Pouca doçura, cheiro de café e chocolate amargo. Mais seco que de costume. Excelente. — 7 days ago

Bodega La Rural (Rutini)

San Felipe Roble Tempranillo 2015

Com vermelho já opaco e com boa textura é um vinho bem interessante. O aroma não é muito marcante, mas o sabor sim, com um toque bem frutificado, lembrando frutas passas. Combina com chocolate e coisas doces. — 13 days ago

Fuego Blanco

Valle del Pedernal Malbec-Syrah 2013

Really quite good for the price point. A lively nose showing baking spices, pepper, and currant. Jammy red fruit highlights the initial palate, and the balance here is noteworthy. An intriguing and elegant wine worthy of the bottle for sure. — 2 months ago

Lopez Island Vineyards

Puget Sound Siegerrebe 2017

The acid hit me immediately, then subsided into flavors of citrus and lychee, then reoccurred on the finish. I love acidic white wine and this example is just that while maintaining some balance and a bit of complexity. I think it is delightful. I’m amazed any decent wine can be made in the San Juan islands due to the climate here but these guys seem to have given this Alsatian grape a good home. — 20 days ago
