Mr. Staran feels this wine is not dry, although claimed by the sommelier to have vanila note, Mr. Staran disagrees. Acidity is on a higher side, oops after discovering of Acidity, Mr. Staran somewhat felt the vanila hint as well, but its mild. I asked for more inputs but Mr. Staran replied me "nothing much". I guess Mr. Staran has a love hate relationship with this wine. I wonder why he rated it high though, maybe its the bourbon barrel affect on Indians. — 2 months ago
Obviously way too young. 14.1% quite high for E&M. Classic perfumed nose, Give it 45 min in a big glass. High toned raspberry, cranberry, hint bitter, touch white pepper, orange rind, oregano, lime. Classic E&M. Needs at least 5 years. So light and elegant on it’s feet. A superb Pinot in every aspect and a class in its own. Will be a 10 in the future. Bought at Mayfield Restaurant in San Juan de Capistrano at lunch. — 4 months ago
Had at Elisa Steakhouse for our 8-year anniversary. Peppery, warm, medium-dry, easy to drink. Pairs wonderfully with an expensive steak, or I could just have a glass on it's own. — 8 days ago
Bright stone fruits - a fresh nose on this one.
Medium bodied, with candied fruits, gravel, sorrel, flavorful citrus acidity and lip scrunching tannins.
Still tight and young, could use another year or two, yet still enjoying after a rapid night of Darts.

Dark, dry, high tannin wine made from whole cluster fermentation and low temperature; no oak. We visited this small charming winery a few years back just south of Mendoza. A small family operation. The father had worked for years for one of the large wineries. Then saved enough money to start his own on just a few hectares. Stacking in the grape plants with double and triple levels of cordons for maximum light interception in this tight area. I could swear they had named each of their grape plants. Well crafted wines, very balanced. — a month ago
Last night I opened the 2018 William Fèvre Mountain Grown Pinot Noir from San Juan de Pirque, Casablanca Valley, Chile.
On the nose there is cherry, strawberry, raspberry, all spice, clove, vanilla, hint of oak and forest floor.
On the palate there is cherry, strawberry, raspberry, cinnamon, spice, vanilla, oak and earth.
This wine is medium bodied with medium +acidity and medium fine tannins that leaves you with a long red fruit earthy finish. Continue having a wonderful weekend and please stay safe and healthy. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷 — 2 months ago
