Malvasia/Vermentino, fermented/aged in amphora. Good herbal and citric tones balancing the aromatic Malvasia. — 5 years ago
A very pleasant surprise. This is serious Syrah. Inviting nose of mystique Asian spices, brambly fruit, animal fur and a big blob of ink. After a sip my palate is coated by substantial tannines, soft and ripe, fine lines of acidity, a wonderful core of fresh black fruit, and an aftermath of garrigue and rocky minerality.

Needs a bit of time to blow off the youthful baking spice but then unfolds and shows brilliant purity of fruit. More on the side of red fruit plus some fresh tree brak, a flower note. Very fresh, very Burgundian, very enticing. Even better on day 2!
On the palate this retains the purity of fruit, with fresh acidity and great quality of tannins - firm, polished, so juicy. Everything is impeccably balanced and with surprising depth for a ‘simple’ Nebbiolo. This is a delight! Delish!!
24y old and making such good wine!
Can’t wait to try his first Barolos from 2023 once they hit the market.

Light, fruity flavor. Perfect for what I was looking for! — 6 years ago
Sooo good. Tons of dark ripe fruit and something unique I can’t put a name on. Medium bodied. Bit acidic finish. Easy and smooth. — 5 years ago
Vino de color carmesí profundo, con intensos aromas a frutas negras con notas de especies dulces y toques de vainilla. En boca acidez notable con taninos aterciopelados sabor a cereza, perfecto balance. Con un final sedoso y obstinado. Vendimia 2017 — 5 years ago
