Some of us, being Nebbiolo supplicants, love Ghemme for its paradoxical meaty, bloody, yet light qualities. This has it in spades, on the edge of cherry cough syrup but never quite there. The woods, especially on the nose. This wine would benefit from a large glass.
It’s a bit of a sneaky, under the radar winery, hopefully for a bit still.

Light silvery straw gold color. Clean aromas and flavors of yellow delicious apple and citrus fruits with a light dose of mineral on the medium-plus finish. Crisp acidity and quite fresh tasting. This “Valdadige version” was much better than I expected. Very dry and quite refreshing. — 22 days ago
Smell: smells pretty acidic, strong tones of lemon and such.

Bellissimo! Love aged Friuli whites - gorgeous light golden color, fresh cut flowers, jasmine, lemon balm, citrus but sweet not tart, silky smooth mid palate, more exotic fruit as it warms, steely minerality- not fat but kinda full-figured, just a beautiful cut, all the acidic angularity softened w/age thru lingering finish. — 5 months ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of several days and consistent throughout. The 2022 Sauvignon pours a straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing and bursting with electricity! Powerful notes of stone fruits, grapefruit, fresh sliced jalapeño, verbena, and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acidity. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+, substantial and refreshing. Lovely with northern Italian soft rind cheese.
