This is a wonderful Viognier from California. Even as a 4 year old, it is fresh, opulent, rich and exciting.
Showing citrus, oak, grapefruits, red apples, minerals, melons, spices, vanilla and black pepper.
Full-bodied and big and bold, with medium acidity. Beautiful legs on this white wine.
Spicy and a pleasure to drink by itself.
15.2% alcohol by volume.
90 points.

Excellent. Red berries, brut, delicious. Drink this for the joy, not the complexity. — 7 years ago
Best bottle I’ve had of this wine yet. Really fresh and juicy. — 7 years ago
A very solid wine for being so young. We had the 2020 vintage. Pear and lemon, a bit of vanilla overtones. This wine can stand up being combined with red meat and pork. Rideau is famous for their Viognier wines, so the winemaker knows how to put it all together. — 4 years ago

I love this 2015 Pinot. It was this wine that convinced me to become a wine club member at Rideau. — 8 years ago
