I really enjoy a nice Carmenere having been introduced to this varietal on business trips to Chile. Typically a great complement to grilled meats, this somewhat young Carmenere (2020 vintage) did not disappoint! Ripe berries but with just a touch of a oeppery finish is a nice pairing with the flank steak, grilled Serranos, roasted sweet potatoes and chimichurri sauce we had for dinner. Not sure how much variety there is between vintages but the 2020 seems like a good one! — 2 months ago

This Viognier white wine has a bright aroma with apricot, peach and orange, together with a fresh stone fruit palate.
Good to serve it with white meats, seafood salad, maybe even for chilli dishes. — 2 months ago
This wine has a medium-dark ruby color. The first thing I notice is the oak. It seems very oaky, despite only six months in wood. The nose offers a smokey note, which I always like to find. There are aromas of ripe cherries, berries and plums. Those fruits also appear on the palate, where oak again dominates. The tannins are firm, but not overpowering. The mouthfeel is rich and full. I had mine with a brisket sandwich and it paired very well. — 5 months ago

Good right out the bottle and stayed that way for a couple of days. What a nice grape! Very underrated. Medium body with a bit of spice. Sweet with a balanced tannin. Day 2 showed more acidity which improved it further. Excellent vino. — 7 days ago
