Magnum # 20 out 144,
Not bad considering cork was dry, no sediment accumulation point in the bottle so I don't think it was stored on its side, chance you take with auction juice.
C'mon people lay your wine down! Thick wax again, so maybe that saved it, but I think it would of been better if stored properly,
Downside of thick wax, another bottle opening accident with knife🔪, this one is going to leave a mark for sure, — 9 years ago

Nice, full bodied CA Syrah. Fruity! — 11 years ago
Wow. I had forgotten what a great NV red this is. Mostly Syrah but light and stands well on its own. — 11 years ago
18 Davies Renteria single vineyard was solid. Probably opened too early, but a beautiful nose of cherry cola, vanilla and a bit of black tea. Not as much depth on the palate, but it’s warming up and the finish is growing in the second glass. Been consistently impressed with Davies. — 4 years ago
Color me impressed. — 8 years ago
a little thin at the end, but exactly what a 201q PN should be. Hugh acid light and really easy drinking. touch blue fruit and kiss of oak — 9 years ago
From my 💎 gem papa this is a phenomenal wine 30 second finish , ripe tannins but well integrated cedar, anise, cinnamon on the nose and on the pallet.. also with huge huge black currant on the tip and on the back end with a tart cherry finish! — 10 years ago

Full bodied but a little too earthy. — 11 years ago

What if I told you you could buy a $60 wine (per Ma(i)sonry in Yountville) for $29?? UN-THINKABLE right? Well it's true - and it's a nice, subtle, soft Napa cab. A little earthy. And it can be yours. Just call the good people at WTSO (they have more to go at that price). 👍🏻 📞 — 10 years ago
Definitely had been one of my favorites. After nearly 11 years now smooth chocolate, tobacco, bold spices. Mild acidity with a silky smooth finish. #LetsGetNaugty #ReynoldsFamilyWinery #Syrah #2004 — 11 years ago
