Storm & Rea W.O. Hemel- En-Aarde Ridge Syrah 2016

Game! Herbs! Baking spice! Plums and dried cherries, dried herbs, and just a bunch of funk. Not sure if pick this as Syrah on blind tasting. Leans toward st. Joseph style for sure. Improved with an hour of air. — 4 years ago

Bodegas Cepa 21

Hito Ribera del Duero Tempranillo 2018

Clean, precise, generous fruit with rea notes, well integrated oak even at this stage. Good acid, a beauty. 2018 drunk at the quarantine in 2020 — 5 years ago

Sandhi Wines

Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir

After opening showed it’s rea character! Name gives it away — 5 years ago

Chateau Ste. Michelle

Cold Creek Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2014

Incredibly smooth with low acidity. Not a strong fruity flavor. Smoky oak and dark flavor. Really Rea) y good! Highly recommend! — 5 years ago

Palmina

Rea IV Sangiovese Blend 2012

35 Sangiovese, 35 Cab Sauv, 15 Malbec, 15 merlot. I don't know how they do it but Palmina consistently produces wines not only of great quality but with all of the characteristics you'd expect of a good quality Italian wine. Big punch of flavor, acid and tannin that you just don't see in other Italian varietal American wines. — 9 years ago
