BIG!!! Intense purple color. Old vine (70 Years+) Tempranillo. Very fruit forward and almost New World in style. Aromas of ripe black fruit, violets, rose hips and vanilla. Same ripe black cherry/berry flavors with hints of dark chocolate and coffee. Spicy vanilla on the long finish. Silky tannins. Quite interesting. Even better the second day. Close friend gifted us this over 15 years ago. This has stood still and I’m loving it. Typical Bdx profile displaying saddle leather, wood and smoke from the barrel toast. Tannins are moderate and standing tall. Outstanding in my book. — 10 months ago
