This is a very tasty Cabernet Sauvignon based Bordeaux blend from Chile.

Showing red and black fruits with oak, coffee and light earth notes.

This 6 year old Cabernet Sauvignon is drinking very nicely now, and will continue to age nicely in the 5 to 7 years.

Robert Parker 94 points. Wine Spectator 93 points. Wine Enthusiasts 91 points.

I had the 2021 vintage a year ago, and it was drinking much better. The 2020 was not as good of a vintage as the 2021.

Good by itself as a sipping wine, and better with food.

A blend of 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Carmenere, 5% Merlot and 2% Cabernet Franc. Aged for 12 months in (10% new) French oak barrels.

15% alcohol by volume.

Oak, mint. Smooth from begging. A bit sweet. Black currant major. Later on, a bit spicy. Start drinking after 1.5 hours decanting, and 6 hours. Maybe, it is better to wait for a few years. It is difficult to decant it perfectly within a few hours. But gentle even from 1.5 hours (even just opening, ok to drink, but of course a bit solid) that is different from Bordeaux. Dark ruby in color with a reddish rim.

Earthy nose of black fruits with light oak, earth, light vegetables, tobacco leaf, black tea, peppercorn, bell pepper, mediterranean spices and dark chocolates.

Full-bodied and smooth with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, cooked cherries, cedar, licorice, earth, herbs, spices, tobacco leaf, dark coffee, light cola, dark chocolates, peppercorn and black tea.

Long finish with fine grained tannins and cherries.

This 5 year old Cabernet Sauvignon based Bordeaux blend from Chile is starting to drink beautifully now. Very complex and nicely balanced.

Needed 2 hours in the decanter to open up properly. Right out of the bottle, the nose was fruity and the palate was earthy. That flipped once it opened up. So interesting.

Will continue to age nicely in the next 10 to 15 years, and has good potential to become a 94+ point wine.

I've had a few vintages of this Chilean superstar, and so far my favorite was the 2015 vintage.

Good by itself as a sipping wine or with food.

A blend of 71% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Carmenere, 5% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot. Aged for 20 months in new French oak barrels.

15% alcohol by volume.
