Lush red fruit, Pomegranate and red cherry. Turns out Ciliegiolo is a parent grape for Sangiovese. There is so much fresh fruit with plenty of acid structure. It’s a beautiful wine. — 5 months ago
Interesting wine from Umbria. Floral fruity on the nose, it’s quite rich on the palate with a long finish. Very good with seafood. — 3 years ago

Vintage 2010 | tasted blind next to a Barolo. This is a treat. Full bodied, iodine ánd umami. Great structure. I prefer Brunello. — 2 months ago

Tom Barras
Well structured and balanced, it displays an iconic ruby/garnet appearance, followed by secondary and tertiary aromas and flavors of woodland herbs, dried fruits and nuts, plus flavorsome balsamic nuances, and interesting red fruit undertones.
Overall, quite elegant and refined; medium bodied, with ample acidity, dusty tannins and a long, satisfying finish. If you’ve got it, now is the time. — 6 days ago
