First wine from Menorca drinking on Menorcan soil. Chardonnay blend with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malvasia, Moscatell and Macabeu. With the heat here - currently 28 degrees at 10:30am - I assume they need to be very diligent at picking at the right time, ensuring the grapes don’t become full and fat and overly sweet. Surprised this was relatively dry with a tart finish. Medium bodied, good acid, and a fragrant nose of orange peel and melon. A perfect pairing with the lobster stew. — 4 years ago
Smells of honeyed cashews.
Medium bodied and first sip hits all the notes I am looking for - cedar and eucalyptus red berry blend, black tea,, white pepper. A lot going on here. Liked this one so much I bought it at the restaurant when we were last at one.

Example of how a local red varietal from Mallorca can excel and be as enticing and satisfying as a bold continental wine from the top wine region in the world. Simply unique. Smooth, mellow, dark, deep, complex, with ripe fruit, spices and elegance that will linger for ever on your palate. Sublime. — 5 years ago
