Wine #4 on Jean-Pierre Robinot Uncorked Vol. 1
Expressive bouquet of honey, bruised quince, lanolin, and sheep cheese. On the palate, it's electric but not disturbing. It's like distant lightning—strikes quickly, then you wait for the thunderclaps, which arrive as a long, evolving, beautifully executed finish. Salty, flavourful, and delicious.

LoireTasting #1 - chenin serie
Typically the lively and charming Chenin that we like to taste in the Loire: White fruits, pear, green apple, rifle stone, smoked. Dry and tonic. Final on the rather long acidity. Purity of wines with little interventionist. Nice precision. Ideal companion of goat cheeses from the region, among others..
— 2 years ago
Wine #8 on Jean-Pierre Robinot Uncorked Vol. 1
Wow. It's like melted strawberry ice cream on a hot day. Guilty pleasure? I feel no guilt. Easily among my favourite rosé sparkling wines. It has a beautiful grapefruit colour and a charming bouquet of strawberry, barberry, grapefruit, bakery, flowers, and earth. Not overly complex, but incredibly charming, delicious, and seductive. A bit sweet, but well balanced, fresh, and quaffable. Wonderful wine.

Concentrated garnet colour, unfiltered. Nose of natural wines, needing to be aerated for the least accustomed consumers. Notes of red fruits cherry, strawberry, cranberry, floral notes and sweet spices, typical of PN, cloves, cinnamon. In the mouth it is well balanced, very flexible and digestible, the acidity is average. Correct length without frills. Pretty Alsatian black PN to drink on youth and crunchyness.
— 2 years ago
Superb St-Aubin with this PYCM signature, mineral driven with a certain richness and roundness typical of that vintage, but without being too heavy, nice length, gorgeous and showing no rush to drink up this 2015. — 3 years ago

Best aged bottle of this I’ve had yet. Really in a great spot. Last few bottles of Robinot in general have been disappointing, but I thoroughly enjoyed this. — 3 months ago
