It isn't clear on the label, but I have a feeling this wine is not from Mudgee, but from the Hunter valley region, but however those two wine area aren't vastly apart
Anyhow it is a very enjoyable wine, it might have stayed longer in the bottle too
Nice fruit, decorated with spices
Smooth, great tannin.

Agewise is incredible!! So balanced I must have been lucky too.
Spectrum so vast. From nutmeg to grapefruit. Fresh but so complex.😢

Excellent structure even for such an old wine. Alcohol still holds the wine together. A touch sweet. Almost like a port. Excellent sweet from a great Hunter Winery. — 7 years ago
