Almost light green in the glass...explosive lime pith/tart lemon/bright yuzu/fresh mown grass on the nose... 12.5 ABV...light and ethereal in the mouth...I love this wine! Bought 6 last year for Berserker Day...12 this year and so glad I did. This is officially my summer patio quaffer this year. Perfect for Sunday supper of roast pork loin with mustard and fresh herbs. Don’t get this to sip on the patio: it’s almost in ripe in its greenness. But with a rich dish like our chicken piccata this was wonderful: it cut through and refreshed, with fruit and minerality. — 4 years ago
