Last had this 4.5 years ago. I remember the fruit and oak were poking out. 4.5 years later much of the baby fat burned off and this is drinking very nicely. — a month ago

Tasted the ‘09 about 2 years ago and thought it was at its peak. This 2nd and last bottle still holds up really well. Yes it’s ripe and creamy but impeccably balance with round yet vivid acidity. Elegant.

Big all-around smooth tannins, good balance, licorice, fennel (flavor), ripe plum, black fruit, dark chocolate. Powerful. Long finish. Really enjoyed much more second day and in 65-68 temp. — 2 months ago

Typical Napa chard that’s ripe and delicious. But it’s dwarfed by the Palmaz and lacks the character of ABC’s Nuits-Blanches au Bouge.
