Classic Spanish vermut rojo, a great apertivo, sweet, but not cloying, served before tapas at Barcelona Wine Bar, South End, Boston — 8 months ago

Very nice. Good balance of fruit and acids. Smooth mouthfeel that finishes with peaches and pears. — 4 months ago
Bittery, tart, dark chocolaty but fresh. Great with a charactery board for a nice quiet evening. — 6 months ago
The red berry fruit combined with the vanilla and oak make this a very pleasant Rioja. — 9 months ago
Delicious, great with fish. As someone not super familiar with Portuguese wines, I found this more substantial and complex than a typical Rias Baixas Albarino, still light and summery — 4 months ago
I don't like whites but this one hits the spot on a warm day. — 5 months ago
2021 at el Che in Chicago. Very good (I’d have rather it a bit more chilled!) — 7 months ago

Vintage 2020 | Modern marketing name and label. The Spanish can do magic with monastrell (= mourverdre). Unbelievable stubborn when popped and poured, beautiful smell. Given 24 hours aeration it develops lovely: smooth taste, glorious fruit. I selected it to pair Indonesian food, which is difficult for matching. It works. — 2 hours ago
