Ágyús Dűlő Kéknyelű 2018

One of the better wines I’ve had this year (delayed post from Dec ‘22) and a total surprise. From the Keknyelu grape planted in the volcanic hilly region on the north shore of Lake Balaton. Something between carricante and Silvaner. Smells and tastes intensely like wet basalt. Subtle hints of pineapple and stone fruit. Light. Lovely. — 2 years ago

Delicious! Refreshing with just enough of the pet nat funkiness to brighten it up. — 4 years ago

Domaine des Tilleuls

Clos Village Gevrey-Chambertin Pinot Noir 2014

Wouh ! — 7 years ago

Tokaji Furmint

Light gold color, just as its grapes. Medium dry, medium-light body with a signature mineral finish. Citrus, peach, and clementines. My first taste of furmint and it reminds me much of Riesling. — 2 years ago

Meggyes - Istenhegy Tokaji Hárslevelu Félszáraz 2013

Purchased and tasted in Poland. One of the coolest wines I’ve ever had. A touch of sweetness, electric acidity, pronounced minerality, and flavors of peach, apricot, almond, ginger, and sultana. — 6 years ago
