This is a new beer launched to market on 6th June 2022 by the Black Sheep brewery.
It is a very pleasant black IPA looking like a porter or stout but with a strong hoppy presence.
The brewer says "Black malt, chocolate malt and flaked oats join Maris Otter pale malt to add roasty caramel and chocolate notes and gives the beer an intense dark appearance. Masses of Cascade, Columbus, Chinook and Citra hops create woody pine, biting citrus and bright tropical flavours".
To drink, it was as they say above. I thought the malt and hop balance worked well making sure the citrussy hops didn't overpower the malt flavours. — 2 years ago
Smells like fresh spear morello cherry and raspberry preserves with rhubarb pie filling with a hint of baking spices. Sweet fruit forward juicy goodness with pie crust blended into a drunken smoothie. Freeze and serve as the bonus adult flavor in a pack of Otter Pops—because moms need a go-to popsicle, too. — 6 years ago
Bought a bottle at the Peaks of Otter Lodge off the Blue Ridge Parkway in VA. It was crisp and refreshing without being too sweet or dry. Perfect wine and eager to buy another bottle. — 7 years ago
Tribute is on of my favourite ales. It is very drinkable with a good light amber colour coming from the Cornish Gold and Maris Otter malts. St. Austell Brewery use Cornish spring water and aromatic hops that gives a pleasant caramel and a slight citrus aroma. The taste is a nice traditional pale ale that is a well balanced malt and caramel, and not over poweringly citrusy as is the current trend.
Easy to come by and readily available in bottles at a snip at £1.80 a bottle. — 6 years ago
Interesting syrah. Deep purple color. Sensation of a red otter pop combined with earthy notes. Balanced and drinks smoothly. — 7 years ago

This is a really great blend. Balanced and yum. Plus it has an otter or something on it... so you know it's good. Perfectly paired with charcuterie. I would definitely buy again. — 11 days ago
