Tastes like a light skin contact wine — 4 years ago
Had saved this unfiltered gem. It has never been produced the same. If you can find it with bottle age, you will be rewarded. — 8 years ago
A brighter Touriga with very nice balance. Excellent value. — 8 years ago
I need this wine at least once a week. A quintessential OS monster. It’s like getting punched in the face by Oakville. — 8 years ago
One of the best wines I've had. Hard to get in the U.S. — 9 years ago
A complex and juicy Portuguese transmontano. It’s apparently been aged over 100 years. It has distinct tart notes of cherry, strawberry and a little orange peel that are smoothed over with hints of clove and vanilla. — 8 months ago
Excelent wine, very aromatic. Plenty of fruit in the nose. In mouth, wood, complex. Excelent grap — 3 years ago
The first vintage of their Raposo, the once-nearly-extinct grape from Rias Baixas that tastes like a less saline Albariño — 7 years ago
Staying with OS. Goes well with Vodka. — 8 years ago

beautiful natural wine — 4 years ago
So much deliciousness in the glass. Verdicchio crushing it again and again. Vibrant, succulent, zippy acid and loads os texture and charm. My favorite IT white grape. Ripe yellow fruit, a kiss of tropical to it, peach, meyer lemon, plum; exotic herbs and floral tones, jokingly saying it smells like Garnier Fructise shampoo, but its herbal, fennel, aloe, verbena all together, lovely salty mineral backbone, green almonds, cheese rind and lemon cream. Great length and finish, the acid balances the phenolic structure and body of the wine perfectly. All concrete and lees contact make for a distinctive wine here. — 7 years ago
Zesty raspberry and pomegranate flavors. — 8 years ago
This is a really great wine- and I think it can go further- curious to see how my other bottles condition to 2019. This producer is amazing and their property and vines are incredible! All they produc is 199% enjoyable- this particular vintage and reserve is exceptional - deep ruby color- strong fruit and nice wood on it from - but ultimately it’s the bottle conditioning that has done the most service on this wine. I opened in September 2017- the wine was fantastic and th cork crumbled upon opening. The wines have been cellared in constant conditions- and I still think this wine can go to 2019- I’ll recap- but all in all a really class wine that shows uniqueness! — 9 years ago
