Burnt sugar, clove, orchid nose. Three distinct tasting notes. Notes of fig, well loved leather (e.g. a leather chair or a leather jacket), pomegranate. Opened up super well. Drank at The Tell Me Bar in New Orleans. — 3 years ago

Nice, savory Nebbiolo although more purple than brick colored. Fresh, mineral, wet steel, dried roses & violets, touch of tar & tobacco. Good price for a Gattinara, although NV. From Main Street Wine and Gourmet, Orleans. 06/06/21 — 5 years ago
Wasn’t expecting much, but surprisingly good taste. Nice for sipping with any meal. — 8 years ago

Dinner at August New Orleans 3/1/18 Charlotte Bonney treat. Lowest priced bottles in long list including Le Tache at two grand. $40. Good balanced nose and palate with more earthy savory notes than primary fruit and medium finish. More interesting than expected. — 8 years ago
Almost no nose (Voldemort?), rain water, gentle lime, maybe clay. Great effervescence, high acid, mango, kiwi. Super clear, light yellow. Fun and easy drinking. Drank at home in New Orleans. — 3 years ago

Delicious and juicy. Like a fancy cherry lime aid, with a hint of pop rocks. At bacchanals in New Orleans. — 8 years ago
Bright fruit, pepper, cocoa. Slightly acidic finish. Still best Pinot for the money in my opinion. Small batch wine my entire family orders through Martin’s wine in New Orleans. $23 — 8 years ago

Young and not so expensive, delicious for a Barolo at this price ($38). Lots of roses, good acidity in the tar, nice tannins, steel, dark cherry, light leather, touch of black pepper, dirt next to a mushroom. A touch lighter than typical Barolo. From Main Street Wine and Gourmet, Orleans. 12/31/2024 Happy New Year! — 2 years ago
