Excellent Syrah that we're enjoying while we can (only 140 cases!) at Servino — 10 years ago
OBP2! 11% ABV, but still a honey. Admittedly, this lady can bench press more than me, and is munching stacks like Nolan Ryan, but that is why I took her to the beach, to take care of sand-kicking troglodytes. Should be s heartburn factor here with all the juice this gal exudes, but it is actually balanced and tasty. First kiss is a big one, but each subsequent sip leaves you longing for more. — 11 years ago
An expressive and complex Sonoma Syrah that nicely balances a fruit and herbal compnents. The nose & pallate has layers of plum, cranberry, completed by dried herbs, and graphite and leather. Balanced acidity and well integrated tannins made this a wonderful pairing with steak au poivre! [6/5/24] ($20) — 2 years ago

Wispy and aloft like that blonde girl with the short bob from 8th grade summer camp. But also, with some backbone, like that girl that told Nolan he was a bully and that he couldn't speak to me like that in the fourth grade. #TetherballPolitics. — 10 years ago

2018 vintage from Sarah and Nolan — 4 years ago
Took a while to open up. Figs, wet flowers, buttered toast, and chocolate aromas with a some alcohol. Lime acidity, flavors of nutmeg, blackberries, honeydew, plum, and something reminiscent of a forest fog. Bright up front, immediately followed by an intense dryness. Finishes with wood, like pressing your tongue on a 2x4, but not unpleasant. This wine brought up a lot of fond memories, odd how that can happen. — 10 years ago
