Vinhas Velhas Bairrada Maria Gomes Bical 2015

Lyle Fass
9.1

This is odd. Huge acid and mineral and floral but also dirty. Elegant. Long, citrusy. Needs air.

UPDATE - this got better, more balanced, cleaned up some but at 11.5% this also seemed thin. Great finish. This is a complicated wine. Maybe too complicated.

LBV Porto Blend 2013

This LBV port combines elderflower, cake, and Concord grapes in the nose; a fruit-forward bouquet of blackberries and plum; and a lingering finish tasting of jam. — 2 months ago
