A burnished cherry color. Dry hay, barley, red berry, sloe, damson plum, and raisin on the nose with cocoa, Malibu (coconut rum), berry jam and caramel sweetness on the palate... along with salt, savor, some astringency and a rapier-like acidity.

1/24 High marks. Wonderful earthy notes. In the sweet side. it is better oxidizing in the bottle so some of the sugarless subsides. Plenty of caramel, toffee, ripe fruit. Outside of the sweetness which can be cloying a solid 90.
