Pale gold color and surprising strength of aroma- this is new wave Albarińo, fermented in barrel and just managing to balance the forward oak and vanilla with more classic aromas of orange peel, white flowers, pear, unripe peach and lemon. this is an intriguing wine, notable for its crisp, steely acidity and flint core. I longed for a bit more depth and finish but a joy to drink even so. — 5 years ago
This is the last of the trio’s that I purchased & tried from this producer “Boisselee, Neve & La Vialliere”. All have been solid wines & showed well displaying classic Côte Rotie notes. The La Vialliere showed lots of dark cherry, berry fruits, smoked meats, black olive, cracked pepper, licorice spice & violet. Beautifully balanced, structured & reasonably priced. — 6 years ago

hard laboring planting the american root stocks left my leg muscles hurting for a few days but every time ill pass the close by highway road I'll enjoy the memory. and i got this rose...
65% carignan
35% grenache
vineyards are 39 years old.
oak fermentation.
12% ABV
pale pink 👀
some greeness and funk first. followed by unripe strawberry and raspberry, lemon and grapefruit peel👃
medium body.
medium + acidity.
creamy red fruit and citrus with added funk, green leaves variety and some dust 👄
medium 🎯
pleasent tartness with an edge. very drinkable. balanced and complex.
lovely high powered rose.
feels right.
ok vfm (110 nis or a few hours of hard work). better value with imported rose's but this is an enjoyable local choice.
paired well with ok-ish delivery pizza. one mushrooms topped with terrible 'tartufo oil' and the second with caramelised onions and balsamic vinaigrette. — 4 years ago
An estate that is working with the changing temperatures in the region, making a Nebbiolo that is slightly bigger and riper without any "new" techniques above the stalwart ones they've developed over centuries in the business. A warm vintage, 500 cases produced, out of the town of Neve in Barbaresco. Big and punchy but with tons of tobacco and oaky malo notes to go with it, only lacking for some nice green phenols, which only pop their heads up in terms of very subtle hints of sage. Gorgeous blackberry fruit. — 8 years ago
Sour, a bit of bite, great chilled — 2 years ago
This wine is from Portugal the Dão region and not from Spain in Galicia. Please have this corrected in the app classification. — 6 years ago
Blind tasted it as a Meursault village, 3-4 years old. — 11 years ago

Vajra's NV Extra Brut Rosé N.S. Della Neve is incredibly characterful, sizzling out of the glass with leather, mesquite smoke, blackberry and white pepper. A blend of 50% Nebbiolo and 50% Pinot Noir, the structure of the former comes through loud and clear through bright acids and firm, powdery tannins. Sour berry fruit and mentholated herbs meet with salty stoniness in the mouth, elevated by a lively, fine mousse. It's not the most finessed sparkling wine you'll taste, but it's certainly charming.
