Deep concentration of fruit and earth on the nose with subtle hints of fresh herbs. Plate carries over nicely from the nose with complimentary flavors and some added grip from balanced tannins, acid structure is still there as well. Great wine from rising winemaker Laura Diaz Munoz at Galerie. It’s mostly Cabernet Sauvignon from some great mountain vineyards with a bit of bit of St Helena valley blended in. Loads of dark berry, cassis, graphite, and mocha. The palate is smooth, elegant, and medium bodied with a long finish. Unbelievable for the price.
