Baked tart & slight hay on the nose. Deep fruit of berries up front. Slight tartness. Layers of leather & earth. Gripping tannins. Dusty finish. Complex & interesting and quite enjoyable. Good QPR at around $45

Great wine from rising winemaker Laura Diaz Munoz at Galerie. It’s mostly Cabernet Sauvignon from some great mountain vineyards with a bit of bit of St Helena valley blended in. Loads of dark berry, cassis, graphite, and mocha. The palate is smooth, elegant, and medium bodied with a long finish. Unbelievable for the price. Give it 7 - 10 years and will be even better. 2014 vintage on Dec 12, 2018
