So glad our impressions from the tasting at the Lytton Springs tasting room was borne out over a year later. You probably haven’t had a #chardonnay like this. This vintage has a distinctive green curry leaf (Bergera koenigii) aroma, backed by dried pineapple, toasted almonds. There’s some weight on the palate, stone fruit, pear and hints of vanilla. Beautifully complex and paired wonderfully with heirloom Mexican corn tortilla tacos. #ridgevineyards — 3 months ago
My first Mexican wine. Dry, dark, but light bodied. — 12 hours ago
All about the nose on this. Compact, deep core of raspberry and pomegranate. Finish hangs — 2 months ago
Honeydew melon and pineapple everywhere.. broad and expansive on the mid-palate. Moderate and honied sweetness is tucked in with complementary acidity. A beauty. — 3 months ago
I love Vinho Verde and this was the kinda I drank around Portugal! It was very light and citrusy. The perfect summer wine even though it’s winter! — a month ago
Great for pizza night! Smooth and the tiniest bit sweet. — 3 months ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Medium lemon color with stone and tropical fruit aromas and floral citrus scents. On the palate flavors of apples, mango and pineapple with citrus zest and hints of chalky notes. Well balanced with lively acidity, long finish ending slightly creamy with mineral, citrus and wet stone nuances. Very nice. — 13 days ago
