Dark fruit and sweet spice notes. Well balanced. — 6 years ago
Wonderful Pinot bouquet. Color a bit red but another year or two aging will improve. Terrific initial taste and palate continues after swallow to accompany a very nice pork tenderloin (and lamb shank). — 10 years ago
Oak Knoll fruit, co-fermented Viognier I believe. Softly smokey, bacon and cherries. With Heather 's amazing Pork Ragù over parmesean polenta. — 11 years ago

Alright alright alright alright alright alright now ladies — 13 years ago
Earthy notes, dark fruit. Alcohol forward initially, nice long finish with some leather and dark spice. Fuller bodied for a Pinot. — 6 years ago
Compared with a note of almost two years ago, this one has done some substantial growing up. Medium-plus density wine. Poured very dark to the glass with a faint hint of violet. The nose is brambly Blackberry, chocolate, and sweet tobacco. This wine sort of seems to have a munch rounder profile through the front and middle.
Black fruit front with a hint of cigar Ash and sweet pipe tobacco. Middle is darker. Dark chocolate notes with a much more mature profile. Still a fair amount of tannin and soil terroir on the finish. A very lovely wine that really shows well with only 5 to 10 minutes of air. This one isn't getting any better in the bottle, so drink up! — 7 years ago
