I don’t like white but this was v delicious from Bar Meridian — 2 years ago
A little strong, but I like it! The label says it has a hint of vanilla, but I don't taste it. The other flavors of spice and black cherries taste great, did not need to eat any food with this wine to bring out the flavor — 6 years ago
Nice summer selection. — 8 years ago
Ventured out (more like kicked out for girl’s night + the bachelor) to have one of the best fried chicken sandwiches in the city (earned it, got a 5k and a lift in!).
Whilst in Bed-Stuy, I walked off the sando by way of hopping over to Clinton Hill, where Bar Meridian has one of the coolest build outs / continuous wrap-around bars I’ve seen to date + the chillest vibes.
Got me a glass of this pretty vanilla Trocken, . But with the atmosphere being just right, all else fades. — a year ago
Full bodied, dark fruit, complex, well integrated tannins, penetrating. Celebrating Tammy’s stepping of her Wave of lifting Meridian to a world best place to life work and raise a family for 20 years and getting preparing for that next wave she will embrace ....Cheers a Tammy! Love you! — 5 years ago
This historic winery was purchased by Beringer in 1999 and also owns Meridian, Chateau St. Jean, Napa Ridge, Chateau Souverain and Stags' Leap Winery. A blend of Cab from several top Napa vineyards, aged separately for 19 months then adding a bit of Cab Franc to the final mix. Complex aromas of dark red and black fruits with sweet spice scents. On the palate black cherry and red plum flavors with leather, cacao and coffee, well balanced. Firm soft tannins, lingering finish ending with fruit and oak. Nice! — 7 years ago
Delicious, full-bodied white Burgundy (Chardonnay) at reception at the Meridian House in Washington, DC — 2 years ago
Intense! Vibrant dark red fruit flavors of cherry, currant and mulberry. Spicy oak fully integrated with this high energetic, flavorful wine. Paired it with our first steak we bought at our local Costco!!! Yes, in Meridian. That was Tammy’s requirement before we could become a member 🤣. Deng good steak!! Even better wine. — 4 years ago
I will admit the blowout price of $2.99 at the local Macadoodles impacts my thoughts on this one. However, it is on point and as nice as you would expect for a regular nine dollar bottle. What's on the label says it all, "soft and fruity. It is a mild Merlot and a little thin, but pleasant enough. At $2.98 I'm going to buy more if they still have it. — 7 years ago
