A very tasty Cabernet/ Syrah blend. I don’t recall ever drinking a Prevail I didn’t like.
Hopefully the new ownership will keep producing this blend at the same quality. — 8 days ago
Pairs well with reds. Drinking tonight with Antelope steaks in Terlingua. Fantastic. Beautiful and full bodied. — 14 days ago

Opaque garnet with deep purple edges.
Sangiovese dominated red currant nose.
Balanced acid driven, velvet to rounded tannins, with a bit of alcohol heat.
A super Tuscan-like definitively California wine;) — 12 days ago
Deep, clear garnet red. Ethereal, balsamic nose with a delicate vanilla touch; red meat. A little warmer, the alcohol of 14.5% is noticeable. Fine sandy, smooth tannins combined with a medium plus acidity and a medium body give a wonderful structure. The wood is almost perfectly integrated. Aromatic a melange of cherry marzipan, balsamic notes, laurel, dark berry fruits, plums, milk coffee and a nice extract sweetness. In the rear part of the palate and in the finish with delicate bitter notes, reminiscent of cherry pits and supporting the structure - until the beautiful long finish. This Gran Reserva has all the qualities for a long life - structure, density, juiciness and balance. — 10 days ago
