Brandy made in Solera system. Bit more fruited then expexted, like cooled plums swimming in tobacco odors. But precise, complex, loooong! — 5 months ago
@Delectable Wine this is the rose de Grenache
Not as juicy as those Priorat roses of Grenache but still very tasty and very pairable with pork dishes — 2 years ago
Haven’t tried the other years. But this is award winning for a reason. Needs a little time to breathe, great for a warm summers evening — 5 years ago
very good wine. Grape is called Pedro Ximenez but tastes like very good chardonnay — 2 years ago

On the nose, I get cassis, blackberry, and a touch of worn leather — classic, understated Tuscan character. There’s also a subtle cherry note that adds brightness without turning sweet.
On the palate, it’s very dry, soft, and composed. Nothing overpowering. The tannins are gentle and well-integrated, giving it a smooth texture rather than grip. The finish isn’t long or dramatic — but that’s part of its charm. It doesn’t demand attention; it invites it.
This is a balanced, easygoing Sangiovese blend — elegant, restrained, and quietly satisfying. — 24 days ago
