Marchese di Borgosole

Riserva Brindisi Red Blend 2019

This is what wine from Puglia can be at its best. This is a fuller bodied wine with plum and blackberry notes. Everything meshes together well. The finish is sufficient but not long. — a day ago

Palamà

Arcangelo Salento Primitivo

Big and bold, fruit forward, easy tannins on the backend. Great with expressive meals, but not surprisingly a little tricky with fish. — 3 months ago

Azienda Agricola Cosimo Taurino

Riserva Salice Salentino Rosso Malvasia Nera Negroamaro 2012

Blend of Negroamaro (90%) and Malvasia Nera (10%). Bright ruby color with a distinct brick rim. Aromas of black fruits, roasted meat and purple flowers. Flavors of black cherry, ripe plums and baking spices. Long, earthy and powerful finish. Bone dry, rustic and full bodied. Thanks for opening, Chris B. Revisited in October 2014. Still bright and fresh. Aging beautifully. — 10 months ago
