Napa Valley Petite Sirah 2019

Ripe, polished, round, suave, definitely not an old school Petite Sirah but a super modern style, undeniably VERY tasty, but struggling a bit with reconciling the flavor and particular the structural style with 1970s/1980s Petite Sirah, I’m confused?!?! — 4 days ago

Opus One

Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 1999

1999 Opus- this 25 year old Napa wine was superb. The longer the decanting the more flavorful it became. Spicy at first sip with bursts of flavor from dark berries, leathery tannins, currant, earth and strong blackberry. Gains intensity and shows its depth and concentration on the finish, which is long and detailed. — 4 months ago

Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 1994

Visiting an old friend. Now I'm down to 2 bottles in my cellar . I bought a case 25 years ago and every once in awhile I enjoy this ageless wine. It still has a soft mid pallet lingering red berry and tannic flavor. The richness of this Cabernet has done nothing but improve over the years. I dare say it will not further improve but hopefully it will linger at this quality level.the mouth feel is an experience in and of its self. What a wonderful treat🍷🍷🍷🍷 — 6 months ago

Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2022

Very citrus-forward (grapefruit and lemon) and light. High acidity that stays on your tongue. Overall, would get again - love the flavor. — 2 months ago

Phantom California Red Blend

Never been disappointed with this red blend. This 2018 was very well balanced and smooth with light tannins. Full of flavor but not harsh. Great on its own or paired with just about any food. — 4 months ago

815 California Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

Definitely a cab with good tannins. Nose of plum and leather. Dry forward flavors with a little tartness. Middle flavors are tart cherries with nice tannins. A bit lacking in the after flavors leaving me hanging a bit. Overall a good wine but could have a little fruit in the front/ middle flavors and more lingering flavor in the end. — 3 months ago

Winemaker's Blend California Red Blend 2020

Really smooth wine, leaves a lovely aftertaste, not too sharp and an easy drinker (the wine not me).

In my local corner shop I paid £9.99, a little expensive, I'd expect to see these prices in BP/Marks and Spencer or waitrose, however I like to support my local independent shop so I took a chance and glad I did!

BTW I'm not drinking in my local park, it's the only option near my house 😁
