Thanks Alex for sending this out to us and letting us try the great wines you and your family are making in Napa Valley. Dark and deep ruby red with some purplish hues. Initially very tight on the nose with a hint of cassis in the attack. Then after some time developed some cherry and vanilla notes, even an undertone of iron. Seems to be in the Bordeaux style, slightly dry. Lots of red cherries, dark cocoa and some wet stones especially in the texture. Some greenery too. Moderate tannins (7/10) and medium bodied. Here is where the dryness comes in, in the finish. Which is long and lingering. Would love to try some of their other wines in the future. Drink till 2025. — 8 years ago

Hoo ah! Still opening up but there is a densely packed jungle of currants and licorice and velcro tannins in here. All in silk pyjamas. Good night. — 4 years ago
