This is a very charming smallish winery in Tuscany. Their approach is counterintuitive in that their wine is not necessarily meant to be cellared and the are producing merlot and Sauvignon blanc in a place where you don’t normally see it. The merlot is excellent and has characteristics of a Sangiovese with refined tannins. This is different in a very good way. Cheers Denis and Jennifer — 4 years ago

Lovely soft tannins, beautiful balance. 2010 ready now. — 8 years ago
From my town, Cortona, in Italy, at the winery where I help out. One of my all time fav's! Lovely fresh blackberry and black pepper notes with incredible minerality that smells/tastes like cobblestone streets after a summer rain. Organic. This year I think I helped pick. — 8 years ago
slightly lighter in style than the Argentine version, though with the source grapestock is from there. excellent wine — a year ago

A very good wine that finishes a meal nicely. It will go well with lunch more than a full dinner. We have been to the winery and look forward to returning. — 4 days ago
