Beautiful wine. Has a big presence but is well balanced and shows good structure. On the palate, it is dense and complex with currents of anise, loam, and graphite enriching a dark-fruited foreground. Displays noticeable earth and herbal qualities in an otherwise fruit-forward package. Possesses a long and balanced finish. Very well done. — 6 years ago

With French cheeses and deserts. Best wine for the price I have tasted in a long time! — 10 years ago
Enticingly smoky nose with a suave palate entry and some funky white pepper. Light bodied enough to dig in to. Alcohol juts out a bit on the finish, but this is another Languedoc surprise. Cinsault can be quite elegant (in comparison to other southern rhone red varietals). Makes me want to taste pure Cinsault. — 11 years ago
BYOB event for the Commanderie des Costes du Rhône at Temple Court. Light in color but a fragrant nose with good acidity and tertiary flavors on the palate. Enjoyed with roasted duck breast. — 3 years ago
This may be my favorite new wine. Simply delicious! I shared a whole case with friends over the course of a few weeks. Cannot get enough, and it is reasonably priced! Languedoc wines are really starting to shine. — 9 years ago
