Hibiscus, rose, sorrel, ink magenta color, acid right away, leather, blackberry, plum, cherry, deep woody leather, acid over tannin — 3 years ago
Reductive, puristic, smoky and herby - already from the start. On the palate this shows brilliant balance between the vibrant, juicy acidity and golden delicious, ripe pear & melon and shy oak.
Yet behind all this there is this rough, smoky, mineral, wild edge that makes this really interesting and ask for a second glass. Better than the 2013 and drinking very nicely right now. — 3 years ago
Robust tone, bold flavor, this Blaufrankisch has an old world, earthy taste that is excellent. Was great with tomato sauce and cheese as well as by itself. I am becoming a fan of Austrian reds. — a year ago
Nice crisp 2013 Pinot blanc. Notes of pineapple and orange. Smooth and buttery — 4 years ago
Delectable missing again on the label as this is a dry Austrian red. Wonderful juice though, good prep for my upcoming trip. Notes of darjeeling, pomegranate, and oddly enough, burnt ends. — 4 years ago

An exceptional example of blaufränkisch from the premier producer. Smooth out of the decanter with depth and character that lasted to the final sip. — a month ago
