Rides the line between tawny and ruby. Rides it well. Young and bright, but refined with age too. Some tootsie roll, but rich fruit flavor keeps it from getting too chocolatey. — 4 years ago
Pale purple in color; violets, hibiscus, and pomegranates on the nose; tastes like raspberries, candied cherries, and wet slate with a long finish. — 6 months ago
Dry cherry on the palate. Great on its own or with chocolate. January 2025. — 10 months ago
This is a really good NV tawny port and an exceptional value. The best port I've ever had in this price range — 3 years ago
Color of saturated purple, nice legs. Nose of chocolate, cocoa, plum, spicy alcohol, strawberry syrup, and more alcohol. Taste mirrors the nose with addition of dense sweetness, black peppery, sweet grapes, touch of mint and oak, tannins, and some zest. Aftertaste shows some more coke cola, caramel sweetness. Very comforting and sweet. — 5 years ago
Great balance of acidity, minerality and chalkiness that showcases terroir of Cotes de Blancs (specifically wine comes from Le Mesnil sur Oger and Lea Chetillions). Lemon zest, freshly baked bread toast and long, dry finish. — 7 months ago

Sipping Fine Wine
Classic aromas, sweet berry fruits with bit of spice. On the palate black plum and cherry flavors with nutty cacao and black pepper notes. Long finish, dry soft tannins, balanced acidity ending with mineral tones. Great to drink now. — a month ago
