I love the nose on this wine!! The Grenache is immediately apparent. Notes of citrus and red fruits!! Light enough for hot weather and as summer approaches will be a nice wine for me!! — 2 years ago
Yes, the 2002 is indeed delicious without that metallic Notes marring the ’03. Complex, earthy but light on its feet, just what you want for a Burg! Oh wait, the others are au Renard — 4 years ago

Returning in 2018 after 2017 was wiped out by frosts, this is an intense, wild 2018 Buisson Renard, like an untamed head of curls. In clear evidence at this early stage, it has floral and boxwood characters and a nutty oak-derived influence. There's even an intriguing note of peppermint on the sinewy, lengthy finish. In a mid-weight, linear style with a firm, phenolic finish that almost requires knife and fork. This needs more time in bottle to shed its austere frame, but if you're not in a hurry... A Pinot not Chardonnay. CVed 8/28/17 Burg Jura comp but no records of notes. Perhaps due to lack of database on red vs Chard. Excellent wine. Medium garnet color dark berries and forest and minerals on border. Silky but also firm texture and long finish. Very balanced. On the more robust spectrum relative to de la Combe Au Renard from last two days. — 6 years ago

The delectable description is wrong, this is 50/50 Grenache/ Syrah. Very yummy. Dark red fruit, some spice/pepper. Full bodied, complex. — 5 years ago
Cassis, damp leather, baking chocolate, forest floor, anise. Complex layers flow around the entire palate. Fine grained tannins and acid provide a sumptuous backbone. Aging gracefully as Renard wines do. — 5 years ago

I loved drinking this, smooth delicate, light body, mineral tones with strawberries. Would recommend — 6 years ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Pale straw lemon color with frothy mousse and lively bead of bubbles. A nose of fresh fruit with yeast, nutty notes and floral scents. On the palate flavors of peach, apple and citrus flavors, floral with biscuit tones. Great balance with acidity, delicate textures, long finish ending creamy with toasty smoky oak and chalky mineral character. Nice! — 5 months ago
