Le Cinciole

Le Cinciole

Chianti Classico Sangiovese Blend 2020

A bit more structured and serious than the median Chianti Classico. Nose takes a while to rev up but then shows bright ripe and slightly sour cherry, loads of minerality, and a fresh, almost floral note. Lean and vertical in the mouth, it’s got nice structure which the fruit is currently hiding behind. But you can tell that with a bit more time it will round out. Very nice. — 5 months ago

Le Cinciole

Camalaione Toscana IGT Cabernet-Syrah Blend 2017

Big, bold & burly.
Dark fruit with black cherry, blackberry, cassis. But also some lavender, smoky roast, toasted oak. Powerful and with good depth & purity. Fresh, too.
On the palate this packs a punch - big, juicy, chewy tannins, creamy dark fruit and loads of savoury freshness! Not shy nor particularly elegant - but this is good! Esp. with some good Fiorentina! Just give it time to breathe!

Le Cinciole Podere

Toscana IGT Rosato 2020

Bright copper hue. Nose is full of sweet red berries, spices and bit savory tang that reminds of the Sangiovese. On palate this is juicy and bright with nice lenght that build towards the end. Light tannins gives nice spicyness to the end. Very pleasant Rose that has brightness of being for a sipper but enough concentration for lighter fare like Pizzas or warm salads with grilled chicken or salmon. Great stuff — 2 years ago

Riserva Petresco Chianti Classico Sangiovese Blend 2004

Black cherry, smoke, balsam, soft tannines and acidity. Bigger, modern style of Chianti, lush, strong. Just entering its drinking window. Wonderful wine, which is starting to unfurl some 2 hours after opening. — 8 years ago
