2004 Cayuse "En Chamberlin" Walla Walla Valley Syrah Ex-Cellar 2018 Selection. 14.7% alcohol. Think bacon frying in the background as you pour fresh, warm blueberry compote over your pancakes while wearing your soft leather Moto jacket and you’ve nailed the nose. On the palate add some balsamic chocolate to that background of dark fruits and roasted game. Wonderful salinity with a silky texture. Lingering finish. Nice NCAA hoops selection. — 6 years ago

Kenbishi Mizuno sake. Yamahai moto. Bottling date 2021.10.14.
I understand this to be a blend of 1-7 year old sake with an average age of three years. It is assembled by tasting different lots of sake and blending for consistency of style year after year.
Nose banana peel, cherimoya, aldehyde like Manzanilla pasada
Palate rich, complex, long balanced. I don't feel the elevated acid expected with an aged sake.
Finish shows a hint of almost H2S character that morphs into cassia/cinnamon.
Very long, pleasant finish — 3 years ago

Honestly.. I hate how good this Pinot Noir is.. it really makes me mad. Im not a wine snob but a moto I kind of live by is ABC = Anything But California. Guess I need to change that prospective. — 2 years ago
