Medium deep ruby , ruby garnet rim . Quite a lot of fresh blackcurrant and cassis , touch spicy , pretty dense still. After a while black tea , dusty herbal touches. Mint. Medium bodied , quite good balanced acidity , ripe tannins. More blackcurrant and mint touches on the palate , just misses a little persistence on the finish , but is nicely balanced . Touch of tobacco . This is probably in its drinking window and I would imagine can last another 5 to 10 years .

Called this New World blind, but disappointing as group’s 5th of 7. Despite an initial green/vegetal quality that blew off, this was full, brambly-nosed and super smooth.
