Only Julien’s 2nd white 1er Cru and what an outstanding wine. Nose is rich, ripe and buttery with scintillating minerality. Also lemon oil, vanilla extract, plantains and some lime zest. Unique and complex. Palate is lean yet rich with amazing precision and focus but seems to a bit unyielding and will need air. Juicy and laser like in its precision. Super juicy and a zen like serenity on the palate and a gorgeous mineral wash on the finish. Very very pure and sappy and delicate. This is so well made. Lingering finish of lemon flesh and lemon oil. As this aerates its class and finesse really shine through. This is super elegant and all class.

A fuller more balanced style of Fleurie. Actually would consider this a perfect pairing for Thanksgiving day. Cheers. — a month ago
