Jammier than most cabs, with a bit of spice at the end. (Personal note: this is the one from Jannene’s dinner at Jeff Ruby’s.) — 4 months ago
The 2021 Pinot Noir is outrageously beautiful. A vivid, sweeping wine, the 2021 captures all the best qualities of this rugged site. Blue/black fruit, cloves, licorice, menthol, lavender and chocolate all build effortlessly, amplified by the wine's natural intensity and volume. The 2021 is a big, rich wine, but it is also not overdone in any way. Jeff and Mark Pisoni blend their estate Pinot using blocks from the five main soil types found across the property. This is quintessential Pisoni. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, November 2023)

I’m a fan of these wines. I’ve not bought in a while as I lost track of them but did manage to get a couple when I saw they had a store in Healdsburg. Back then he was making it seemed like every varietal possible. This one was always a favorite and is still going strong. No rush — 7 months ago

What a nose on this. Son says blackberry. For sure dark fruits and other floral notes for me. Great rich flavor profile and a nice finish. Going to go great with the steaks on the grill. — 9 days ago
