beautiful rusticity, strong tannins, complexity of the nose speaks to the labor multistage selection of grapes. true bourgogne. jean luc described this is a tough vintage: heavy rain, later harvest — 17 days ago
This is an underrated stunning Villages wine from an outstanding domaine. Jean-Luc and Eric have taken forward the quality of their father's G-V. Wonderful nose, typical Gevrey. Delicious fruit with a long finish. Will last well. Excellent value. — 10 years ago
It shows quite clear GC features. Fineness but with robust. Drinkable, but much enjoyable if keeping more years. JEAN LUC & ERIC BURGUET Chambertin Clos de Beze 2014 @, Fruit, 240424 — 10 months ago
Precise aromas of violets, wild raspberries and strawberries, orange rind and a touch of wood smoke characterize the 2020 Vosne-Romanée les Rouges du Dessus 1er Cru from Jean-Luc & Eric Burguet. The wine is medium to full-bodied with a smooth, silky mouthfeel and a fleshy core of intense fruit. Quite delicious. Drink now until 2032. — 2 years ago
Reticent on both nose and palate for 1st hour. Both unfurl with air. Meat, black fruit, floral on nose. Expands in glass. Palate fills out: nice whack of salty earth, iron, meat, black cherry. Buoyed by ripe tannins and sneaky acidity. No hurry here, but a very satisfying 2006. Re-buy, enthusiastically. — 10 years ago
