Jardín Secreto Tempranillo 2019

v19. Very good! Floral and raspberry nose. Fresh raspberry and black cherry fruit. Round, smooth, slightly chalk and chewy, mocha finish. Nice! — 5 months ago

Santo Tomás

Duetto Tempranillo Cabernet Sauvignon 2015

Brought this wine to my favorite Estes Park restaurant to share. While I must admit the Italian Chianti Classico was better this still did a good job showing Mexico — 6 months ago

Santo Tomás

Unico Gran Reserva Cabernet Merlot 2012

Drinks like a well aged Bordeaux. Let this decant for 1-2 hours and saw this get better with time. Incredibly smooth and medium to medium light tannins. Excellent bottle and would encourage everyone to try some Mexican wines. I — 6 months ago

Blanc de Blancs Chardonnay

Dependably quite nice! Killer price point to boot. A much better use of NM than bomb development (understatement) — 5 months ago

Monte Xanic

Valle de Guadalupe Chenin Colombard 2022

Had the 2022 in January of 2024 with chicken tinga. What a nice little wine. Minerality and a touch of citrus with some floral on the nose. Hints of lime on the tongue and a hint of hibiscus on the nose. This was a lot like a New Zealand sauv blanc but with a softer punch. Enjoyed this and wondering about going through the hassle of obtaining this one again. Definitely would if it was easier to get. — 6 months ago

Monte Xanic

Gran Ricardo Valle de Guadalupe Red Blend 2017

Let this decant for 45-60 minutes and definitely helped open it up. Nose has slight bouquet of dark berries along with cherry and hints of leather. A very light jam flavor in mid palate and subtle tannins that make this wine something you can merely sip away or combine with a meal. — 6 months ago
