Nice chillable Red, unfined & unflitered. Light and pleasant.

Solid wine, good price point at under $20.
The earthiness (dense rich soil) is a bit forward, not ness bad but pronounced and in a “I do not know this terroir” category (a reason I love wine).
Id give it a year, and pair it with hearty fare like pot roast or barbacoa.

30% whole cluster fermentation with native yeast. Bottled unfined and unfiltered with minimal SO2 added.
Beautiful red violet, clear. Soil on the nose, round cherry note in the background.
Weight on the pallet is lighter medium. Pleasant and balanced acidity.
Texture is lively on first pour, without aeration, love it. With a bit of air, the texture is more silky, tannins align and sync. Fruit is in the cherry spectrum, woody tannin.
Great spring and warmer weather carefree red.
Finish is quick, and clean.
Good in its own & w/food.

Thanks to my boss Joel Hunter who gave me this bottle of his winery Hourglass, he is a business partner of the Hourglass winery, I work for him in Irvine, CA. The wine is velvety smooth with a balance of the cherry and currant berry flavors and the smooth tannins and fine American oak notes. Happy 4th of July to my fellow American friends 💥🦅🎆🔔🇺🇸🍷❤️🤍💙 — 4 years ago
Cherry, currant, raspberry, vanilla, mossy earth and oak. Medium-bodied and good soft tannins. — 5 years ago

Rum Punch
Rum, pineapple juice, banana syrup, lime juice, coconut milk, mint infused water, bitters.
Cold press juice, mixed with a twist (and a good shake) . Innovative packaging, keeps juice and alc separated until consumer is ready to imbibe. Fresh and tasty. Available in refrigerated RTD cocktail area. @ Whole Foods - Irvine — 3 years ago
Drank with Shawn Smith in Irvine. A little less spice than the ‘98; quite good and complex overall but even after 90 minutes in the decanter I think it could have used more. It kept getting better. Always enjoy Pegau. Decent amount of sediment in the bottle. $190/RP 98 points. — 4 years ago

Drank this on the Irvine cove beach with family after the Blues Cup. Tasty and a classic PN from Russian River. Thanks cuz for buying this gem. Coca Cola, cherry, cacao, rose petals. Mmmmmm — 7 years ago
Very nice Margaux for under $50. Nothing mind blowing, could use 1-2 year additional lay-down time as I found the tannin was blocking the fruit notes which were in the Black Currant zone.

Yummy. Always forget how much I enjoy Lambrusco.
Good solid red violet, frizzante, gentle tannin, off dry, fruity(a lil foxy and grapey, but nothing over the top) lighter body, 8% abv. Very easy drinking, and if I do say, gulp-able

Drink cold, almost too cold. Still fresh. Apple, lemon, oak, alpine-like. Very resonant, with plenty of life. Wish I had another to check in 5-10 years from now, 6 yrs old tastes to young. — a month ago
