Great! A plum and leather with smoke (from smokehouse). But, I think, the acidity is the key. Like a final touch. — 5 years ago
2006 a dream — 6 years ago
Year has made a significant change to this wine. Last summer it was bit too much of everything where as now the wine has mellowed, integrated and even shows some complexity. Nice mineral streak gives firmness and the bit over the top ripeness is better aligned with the acidity giving better balance. I still think the regular bottling is overall a better package. — 7 years ago
Voluptuous and sexy. Fantastic to see a Demeter certified wine produced with such classic finesse. — 8 years ago

Costco. Very bright and sharp, but potentially ok on it’s own, shines with richer dishes — a month ago

Yummy lighter orange, and 1L — 5 years ago
Pretty golden color, mouth filling and fruity but dry. Golden delicious apple, melon rind, Marcona almond and pleasing mildly spicy tingle on the finish. An affable wine that goes down easy but is fun to savor! — 6 years ago
We are at Machiavel, just next door to Clover Grill in Paris. Rocche dei Manzoni is a great Barolo producer. This is their basic Barolo, and we love it. Good length, polished tannins and freshly cut flowers with lots of red and dark fruits. Excellent now and can age well for a few years as well. Good stuff ! — 7 years ago

This is a full bodied red that hits your taste buds fast and hard. My mouth is salivating in anticipation of pairing it with a juicy tri-tip steak. My better half says "Smooth, crisp, clean finish." — 9 years ago

Excellent. Drank the 1985 in 2021 for my 36th birthday. The color was still good, the nose was wonderful, the legs were as slow as molasses. Great wood notes. When we opened it, we did break the cork. The cork was longer than usual and longer than our screw. It was salvaged with a chopstick and there was only one speck of cork found in the wine. Incredibly low sediment for the age — maybe a shot glass of sediment was left in the bottle when we tipped it. — 5 years ago
Easy and delicious. Lots of honeysuckle and a bit of funk. — 6 years ago
Vintage 2018 / Thanks! winefriend @Jaap Cuijpers knows that I like very curious grapes and he introduced me to Incrocio Bruni 54. There are only 32 acres vineyard with this grape, a crossing from sauvignon and verdicchio bianco. The wine is from the Marche region. It went excellent with a piperade of vegetables and baked flounder (Fr: limande Nl: schar) and a selection of goats cheese. — 7 years ago
